The Hiden HPR-40 Dissolved Species Analyser

Hiden Analytical introduce the new HPR-40 mass spectrometer bench-top gas analyser for precise monitoring of dissolved and absorbed gases and vapours in diverse fluid and semi-fluid media. The low sample consumption rate of 10-3 atm.cc/min. together with probe diameter of 1.5mm offer minimal environment intrusion for analyses from small discreet specimen containers and pliable bodies such as fruit and tissue.

Capillary transfer lines with immersible membrane interface are utilized for both single point and selective multipoint monitoring. Up to 10 independent lines can be integrated to a single analysis system, with preprogrammable and automated sampling point selection. An enclosed interface is optionally used for analyses with recirculating media.

Application areas include analyses in soils and riverbeds, VOC monitoring, aerobic and anaerobic processes, methane production, agro-chemical evaluation.
