BioSpot-VIVAS sampler used to support COVID aerosol theory

Over the month of August, new research on COVID-19 adds to the likelihood that the SARS-CoV-2 virus can be transmitted through airborne routes.

Featured in many news articles around the world, including the New York Times, FOX, CBS and the Daily Mail, Dr. John Lednicky, Research Professor at Environmental and Global Health, University of Florida  and his research team, found infectious virus can spread through the air- up to 16 feet away from an infected patient – through aerosols.

Per the paper, published on August 12^th, 2020, this experiment was performed using the Aerosol Devices BioSpot-VIVAS™ sampler as its collection device.
