Dr. Elena García Armada included in the `Women and Engineering` Strategic Council of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Last Thursday, December 10, Dr. Elena García Armada participated in the constitution of the "Women and Engineering" Strategic Council, a project launched by the Royal Academy of Engineering four years ago to normalize the participation of women in the field of engineering and technology, and to publicize what science, technology and engineering contribute to the quality of life of people and to the sustainability of the planet. This initiative, which has the honorary presidency of Her Majesty the Queen, has already united more than 2,500 people around the "Women and Engineering" community, has developed specific programs for more than 2,000 secondary school students and collaborates with more of 30 institutions, public bodies, universities and companies.
