Punches and Dies
Adamus - Standard Tablet Tooling
Depending on customer requirements, the tools can be used to produce round or molded tablets, plain or with a dividing line, or with symbols, letters, or logos. Upon request, the compression portion of the punch or the entire punch can be coated with electroplating chrome or PVD coating.
Adamus - Tooling for Tablets with Atypical Shapes
With the appropriate design software and production based on digitally controlled machines, we also offer punches and dies with more complex shapes than those typically used in the pharmaceutical industry.
Adamus - Multipoint Tooling for Tablet Presses
Adamus S.A. specializes in providing high-quality multipoint tooling for tablet presses, designed to significantly enhance production efficiency without the need for investing in new tablet press machines. This approach not only increases operational benefits but also reduces production costs. Multipoint punch tools come in various configurations, tailored to specific applications, customer requirements, internal procedures, and technical feasibility, considering tablet dimensions and tooling standards. The production rate with multipoint tools varies by the number of points, typically showing average performance increases of 1.5, 2.8, and 4.5 times for two, four, and six-point tools, respectively. The actual efficiency gains can fluctuate depending on the compressed product's characteristics. The use of multipoint tooling requires adjusting turret speed for optimal filling, slightly reducing output compared to theoretical calculations but achieving substantial production enhancements overall.
