The Multipurpose Disinfection Cabinet MPDC-1 ™ solves the dilemma for the disinfection and decontamination of all surfaces of medical devices and their attached cords, cables, for devices such as, but not limited to, entire ultrasound probes and their cables, and miscellaneous cords and cables, without using high temperatures, highly aggressive chemical treatments, or troublesome immersion baths. Multiple patented features for holding and treating various devices and their accessories; and this eliminates the chance for any shadowed surfaces and untreated surfaces, during the processing cycle that can cause pathogens to get missed and/or survive the surface treatment process. The result is the high-level disinfection and decontamination of all treated object surfaces, including their attached cables and cords, with only a 23 minute processing cycle.
