ProgSim is a fetal progression simulator for intrapartum ultrasound educational and training purposes. ProgSim is a dynamic phantom that includes an anatomically realistic model of pubic bones with a fetal head that can be moved to simulate different fetal head stations (from -2 to +2). The phantom is filled with water and has a corner made of a transparent tissue-mimicking silicon membrane, in order to allow both reliable simulations of transperineal echographic imaging and easy visual check of actual fetal head position.
