The Absorbent Wound Dressing portfolio is indicated for the management of lightly to moderately exuding chronic and acute wounds. The range is designed to promote a moist wound environment, which can support wound healing. The range includes products designed for partial and full thickness pressure sores and leg ulcers as well as superficial wounds, skin tears and postoperative wounds. In addition to standard sizes, there are two sacral dressings specially designed for comfort on contoured areas. All dressings in the range have a low-friction polyurethane top film, which acts as a protective barrier to external contaminants and water from showering. Not only do the dressings meet ISO 10993 biocompatibility requirements for use as a medical device, they are formulated to be gentle to periwound skin. The Bordered Hydrocolloid Dressing range combines two unique formulations: cyclodextrin and hydrocolloid, which function together to deliver enhanced odor control performance.

These dressings use our patented hydrocolloid technology and are uniquely formulated with the core materials being chemically identical and hence compatible. This means there is no migration of these materials into the wound and the dressings remain integrated and do not break down after absorption of wound fluid.
