Sunlight MiniOmni - Bone Densitometer
The Sunlight MiniOmni™ bone sonometer provides an exceptionally affordable, professional solution for early assessment of osteoporosis. It enables reliable, accurate, non-invasive and safe monitoring of bone density – with exceptional cost-effectiveness. Its ultra-small size and weight (similar to and even lighter than a hardcover book), intuitive ease of use, and convenient USB-port connectivity to Windows™ 7 and above PCs and laptops makes it ideal for use in any physician office or medical clinic, pharmacy, annual checkup center or other retail venue.
Sunlight Omnisense - Ultrasound Bone Sonometer
The Sunlight Omnisense™ 9000 Quantitative Ultrasound Bone Sonometer enables ultrasound-based osteoporosis screening at a touch. A robust device that features a cable-free touch-screen and a user-friendly interface, it is ideal for use in clinics or any other point of care with a heavy workload.
Technology
BeamMed Omnipath - Axial Transmission Technology
Omnipath™ is a unique, patented, proprietary axial transmission technology based on the measurement of the speed of ultrasonic waves propagating along the bone. A breakthrough technology that is implemented in Sunlight MiniOmni and Omnisense™ devices, Omnipath enables measurement along the bone’s maximal strength axis, eliminating soft tissue effects and providing better accuracy and precision of measurement. Axially transmitted speed of sound (SOS) indicates overall bone strength by reflecting properties such as mineral density, elasticity, cortical thickness and microstructure.
Sunlight MiniOmni and Omnisense - Multi-Site Measurement Technology
Sunlight MiniOmni and Omnisense™ are currently the only bone sonometers on the market that can measure at multiple skeletal sites. Multi-site testing provides a better chance of identifying individual cases of osteoporosis as well as enabling flexibility in testing patients who cannot be tested at a particular skeletal site. Multi-site measurement also has advantages in monitoring treatment results, because different bones may respond to treatment at different rates.
