BEMIS Three-Gallon Disposal Container offers the ideal three-gallon containers for high volume sharps disposal. The unit is available with two types of lids, both lids feature a needle key for safe removal of needles when necessary. One is a dual-purpose lid, which allows the container to remain open for code situations or in a free-fall position for normal, one-handed operation. This lid is designed for use in restricted areas such as ICU, ER and Labs. The second design features our exclusive rotating cylinder top to permit convenient, hands-free disposal of syringes. When the lid is open, hand contact with contents is effectively blocked, making this unit ideal for patient room use. Lid Closes automatically to drop syringe and needle in a horizontal position.

BEMIS One-Quart Phlebotomy Container
Two separate openings allow for the safe disposal of needles and syringes. Individual lids can be temporarily closed for safe transportation or when the container is not in use. The container also features an opening to safely place the blood tube holder with needle while attending a patient. When used with the adhesive-bottom holder, the containers universal needle key provides safe, one-handed removal and disposal of needles. For added safety, the container has "corner windows" to easily monitor fill level. Once the container is full, the lids can be permanently locked, and the container is ready for safe disposal.
