Design & Engineering Consultation

BMP Medical has the ability to consult with our customers on both the design of their parts and the design of their tooling. We partner with local vendors to provide medical device design consultation from concept to final product. Often times, we offer advice and assistance when the mold and part design does not lend itself to a product that is easily molded. Our engineers can step in and provide advice on how to maintain functionality of the part and, in many cases, make improvements on the design.

BMP - Medical Device Process Validation Services

BMP Medical offers full medical device process validation services for all of our customers. We will work individually with a project manager and your team to develop a validation master plan for your project. The plan can range from simple go/no go to a full IQ/OQ/PQ protocol. We customize the plan based on the customer’s needs and requirements. Many of our customers require full statistical data analysis for their project, and we use the latest software to provide cPk and pPk. We also use an automated vision system to measure parts and can provide gage R&R testing as part of the validation. When necessary, BMP Medical partners with several metrology houses for high volume measurements, or for measurements that are beyond our internal capabilities.

BMP - Manufacturing Services

As cleanroom manufacturers, BMP Medical conducts all manufacturing in a certified Class 8 cleanroom with 16 injection molding and 4 injection blow molding machines. This area is for our customers that demand a high level of material handling and packaging to maintain product integrity. All products are treated as if they are sterile products. This means strict gowning and gloving procedures to minimize any possible contamination. Several products are certified RNase/DNase free for a particular customer that manufactures a PCR test kits. The cleanroom is audited on a regular basis for compliance.

BMP - Packaging Services

BMP Medical understands the need for custom packaging when it comes to OEM contract manufacturing. Each project is unique to us, and we will help you meet all of your engineering, production, packaging and labeling requirements. Custom bags and boxes are routinely used, particularly when the product requires cleanroom packaging or post-manufacturing sterilization. We utilize a white room and Class 8 cleanroom for final, single-use packaging, as well as offer a wide variety of packaging options. Whether it is a private label branded product, or incoming Work in Progress (WIP), BMP Medical will work with you throughout the process to ensure the product is packed to your specification.

Development & Design Services

BMP Medical is here to help you get your project off the ground and into production. At times, a customer may only have a concept that requires a technical drawing prior to beginning the molding process. BMP Medical partners with local vendors to provide detailed part drawings using CAD software. The drawings are critical to properly designing the tooling and the overall function of the parts.
