Lower Extremity Positioners

Bone Foam - Lateral Leg Bolster

The uniquely designed bolster has two specialized cutouts that allows the positioner to bend with the knee to varying angles while protecting bony prominences of the ankle and knee.

Bone Foam - Semi Extension Ramp - Wedge for Tibial Nailing

Positions the lower extremity for appropriate 15-20 degree angle during semi extended tibia nailing. Stabilizes the entire leg during the semi-extended tibia nailing approach. Foam creates a soft, but durable surface that safe for the soft tissue. Can be used with custom sterile bags for a simple set up.

Bone Foam - Safely Positions Bilateral Lower

Our newly redesigned Prone Positioner gives the OR staff increased functionality when positioning the lower extremities in the prone position. The operative leg is raised above the contralateral leg providing clean imaging, while simultaneously cradling the down leg with an integrated bolster that protects the foot and ankle. The integrated bolster can slide out for use in the OR, and slide back for easy storage while not being used.

Upper Extremity Positioners

Bone Foam - Lateral Upper Extremity Positioner

Our new lateral positioner is a two-piece design that can be used to stabilize the patient in the lateral position for both upper and lower extremity cases. The unique modular bolster allows for the patient to be intubated in the supine position and transferred to the lateral position with ease. This maintains access to the down arm and vasculature throughout the case.

Bone Foam - Single-Use Upper Extremity Positioner

Anterior hip procedures often require several practitioners to stand on one side of the operating table. With the patient in the supine position, the Single Arm Support positions the arm across the chest to create more space on the operative side of the table. Without the Single Arm Support, the surgeon does not have enough room to operate between the outstretched arm board and the femoral retractors at the hip. The Single Arm Support base is stable over the chest of both male and female patients. The soft foam shell protects bony prominences and nerves of the elbow. To keep the arm from falling off the chest and encroaching on the surgical site, there is a long anchoring strap that secures to the opposite side of the table to stabilize the arm throughout the case.

Bone Foam - Prone Foam Superior Support Pad

The Prone Pillow is a specialized upper body positioner that is designed to safely position patients in the prone position. It protects the head and face of the patient while cushioning the chest to flex the neck. This product is specifically designed to accommodate intubation tubes and other oral leads while a patient is face down. The Prone Pillow can be used for a variety of reasons, but it is especially beneficial for COVID-19 patients. Lying prone helps to improve lung function and can prevent further deterioration of the condition. The prone pillow makes it possible to comfortably maintain this position for an extended period of time.

HIP Positioners

Bone Foam - Direct Anterior Hip Positioning System

The Hippy is an innovative tabletop system that consistently and accurately positions patients for anterior hip arthroplasty. The postless design reduces injury risk to the perineum while stabilizing the pelvis and torso. The Hippy has bilateral removable hip bolsters which improves surgical access to the acetabulum and creates a stable pelvis for cup impaction. Memory foam padding and the base contour safely cradles and stabilizes the patient throughout the case.

Bone Foam - Tray Topper Device

The Tray Topper is a new device that is transforming the use and functionality of the Mayo stand. The Tray Topper is a soft and stable top cushion for the Mayo stand that is utilized by surgeons across specialties to fulfill their positioning needs. No need to pad the Mayo stand with a combination of blankets and linens; Tray Topper is a radiolucent cushion that can be used as an operating surface or protective padded surface for patient positioning.

Spine Surgery Positioners

Bone Foam - Anterior Cervical Positioning System

The Nextend is specifically designed to properly position the patient during anterior cervical procedures.  Bone Foam utilizes state of the art foam technology and unique foam contours to ensure the patient will be in an optimal cervical spine position regardless of size. The Nextend Positioning System maintains the patient’s position to optimize exposure and to control the cervical anatomy during the procedure. Outdated, makeshift positioning methods and complex tape configurations require OR staff to memorize positioning preferences for each surgeon. The Nextend standardizes the process to make anterior cervical positioning more consistent and efficient.

Bone Foam - Lateral Spine Positioning System

The Sideline is designed to accurately and safely position the patient in the lateral decubitus position during Lumbar Interbody Fusion spine procedures. The Sideline utilizes unique foam contours to ensure the lumbar spine is in the correct anatomical position for each case. The posterior aspect of the axillary and hip bolters cradle body and prevent the torso from rotating posteriorly. The Shark lateral positioner is a comfortable buttress against the anterior shoulder which prevents anterior rotation of the torso and provides access to the down arm vasculature throughout the case. The Sideline contains the Lateral Leg Bolster which allows the knees to comfortably bend and protects bony prominences of the lower extremities.
