Cell Viability Assays Caspase - Apoptosis Detection
Apo Active 3PE for Caspase / Apoptosis Detection
Highly specific for active human and murine caspase 3. Other assays require the utilization of peptide based (DEVD) reagents that tend to cross-react with caspase 7 and other caspases. Applications – Flow Cytometery, Fluorescent Microscopy, or Fluorescent plate reader. Yields both quantitative and qualitative results. Gives a strong positive signal. Can be used in conjunction with other antibodies or stains. No need to make cell lysates or run western blots. Cells can be fixed and analyzed later. Works with human, mouse and rat cell lines.
ELISA Products - Assay Diluents
Antigen-Down Assay Diluent
Bottle Size: 100 mL, 500 mL, 1 L, 10 L. Reduces the effects of the sample matrix and variation among samples. Pre-dilution of the samples is not necessary.

Fluoro AChE - Fluorescent Enzymatic Assays
Exposure to chemical nerve agents, pesticides and certain drugs (anesthetics, cocaine and therapeutical drugs) reduces the activity of red blood cell (RBC) acetylcholinesterase (AChE). The RBC-AChE can be used as a biomarker to monitor suppressed and or increased AChE function in the peripheral and central nervous system (9). Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) is one of the most important enzymes involved in nerve transmission. The enzyme is bound to cellular membranes of excitable tissue (synaptic junction, endoplasmic reticulum, etc) 1-3. Acute toxicity to humans and animals through inhibition of AChE by both nerve gases and an important class of pesticides has long been a field of intensive scientific investigation 4,5. AChE inhibitors have also been used clinically as Alzheimer’s treatments (e.g., tacrine (tetrahydroaminoacridine)) 6 and are the subject of increasing interest in various disease processes and treatment strategies 7,8.

Fluoro ADP - Cellular / Tissue Fluorescent ADP Detection Kit
Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) is an organic molecule which plays a central role in cellular metabolism and energy transfer reactions. ADP is a product of ATP de-phosphorylation and can be rephosphorylated to ATP or further de-phosphorylation to AMP. This cycling of ADP is central to transferring potential (thermodynamic) energy from one source to another. Besides its involvement in glycolysis, citric acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, ADP is also stored as dense bodies in blood platelets. Upon platelet activation, ADP is release which leads to further platelet activation through APD receptors (1-8). Cell Technology’s Fluoro ADP assay provides a reliable, sensitive fluorimetric assay for the quantification of ADP in biological samples.
