Bone Marrow Aspiration

Cervos - Manual T-Handle Bone Marrow Aspiration Device for Extremity Bones

The CER-EXT-M has a profile that makes it ideal for use in extremity bones. The enhanced features of the tip of the stylet and cannula facilitate penetrating harder cortical bone including the distal tibia. Its shorter length makes it ergonomically friendly for working in extremity locations and it incorporates patented technology that limits peripheral blood dilution and eliminates the need for centrifugation.  This device is often used in conjunction with the CER-BN-116 bone dowel harvesting device and CF-G5 bone graft granules.  Combining marrow aspirate with autogenous bone and a graft extender allows clinicians to fill boney defects using the patients own cells as the engine for bone healing. The combination of all three provide cells, signals and a scaffold; the building blocks for repairing bone.

Cervos - Manual T-Handle Bone Marrow Aspiration Device

The CER-LA-M device incorporates patented technology that limits peripheral blood dilution and eliminates the need for centrifugation. Its length makes it ergonomically friendly for accessing deeper locations needed for minimally invasive spine procedures.  The T-Handle allows it to be advanced either manually or with a mallet. This device is often used in conjunction with the CER-BN-116 bone dowel harvesting device and CF-G5 bone graft granules.  Combining marrow aspirate with autogenous bone and a graft extender allows clinicians to fill boney defects using the patient’s own cells as the engine for bone healing. The combination of all three provide cells, signals and a scaffold; the building blocks for repairing bone.

Cervos - Manual T-Handle Bone Marrow Aspiration Device

The CER-ORTHO-M device incorporates patented technology that limits peripheral blood dilution and eliminates the need for centrifugation. The length makes it ergonomically friendly for accessing the iliac crest and can be advanced wither manually or with a mallet. This device is often used in conjunction with the CER-BN-84 bone dowel harvesting device and CF-G10 bone graft granules.  Combining marrow aspirate with autogenous bone and a graft extender allows clinicians to fill boney defects using the patient’s own cells as the engine for bone healing. The combination of all three provide cells, signals and a scaffold; the building blocks for repairing bone.

Sub Chondral Access

Cervos - 8 Gauge 25 cm Access Needle, Includes Reamer and Curette

The CER-SUB-825 is a bone access device designed to be powered by a drill that has an open tip 8 gauge cannula that extends 25 cm. This kit is sold including an accompanying reamer and curette.

Cervos - 15 Gauge - Open Tip Drill Enabled Access & Injection Cannulas

The CER-SUB-1560 is a bone access device that has a 15 gauge cannula with an open tip and is designed to be powered by a drill. The device can serve as an access port to transplant tissue or medications.  For example, marrow aspirate obtained using CER-EXT can be used with the CER-SUB-1560 to transplant marrow aspirate. The mechanism your body uses to repair and maintain tissue is Vasculogenesis, the process where marrow stem cells move through the peripheral vasculature to the site of damage. Vasculogenesis is the engine of all tissue repair making red marrow the engine of life.  Marrow is such a precious resource that it is the most protected part of the body and resides deep inside bone cavities and is redundant throughout the organism. This preferential status reflects the primary role this tissue and cells play in health and trauma.
