The innovative Contura S400 leak detector offers packaging machine manufacturers, food industry and pharmaceutical industry in general, a unique solution for cap sealing inspection, packaging with modified atmosphere (MAP) and other types of packaging, according to DIN EN 1779 and in close resemblance to ASTM F2338-09. Unlike other solutions, it can detect gross leaks as well as small leaks that are undetectable to the naked eye or by the immersion test method (also known as the "bubble test").
