ADME and Pharmacokinetic Services

Creative Bioarray provides various in vitro ADME/PK services including high-throughput ADME screening, in vitro metabolism, in vitro permeability and transporter assays. ADME is short for "absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion". The four properties determine the drug level within a body, the drug exposure to tissues, and the metabolic process of a compound, which can help predict the bioavailability and bioactivity of a drug-whether a drug can reach its intended target and confer a therapeutic effect. Therefore, understanding the ADME properties of the compounds is crucial to the drug developing process.

creative bioarray - Establishment and Culture Protocol of mESCs Cell Lines

Embryonic stem cells (ESCs) are abbreviated as ES, EK, or ESC cells. They are a class of cells isolated from early embryos (before the proto-intestinal stage) or primitive gonads, which have the properties of unlimited proliferation, self-renewal and multidirectional differentiation in vitro in culture. ES cells can be induced to differentiate into almost all cell types of the organism, both in vitro and in vivo environments.

creative bioarray - Alkaline Phosphatase Staining

Alkaline phosphatase (AP) staining is a rapid method for screening pluripotent cells by using AP activity. AP is a hydrolase responsible for the dephosphorylation of many molecules, such as nucleotides, proteins, and alkaloids under alkaline conditions. AP activity is higher in pluripotent cells but is greatly decreased in more differentiated cell types. The technique described herein may be used to enumerate pluripotent cells during differentiation in the presence or absence of specific genetic manipulations or small chemical modulators. It may also be used to monitor induced pluripotency using defined factors from more differentiated cell types.

creative bioarray - Cell Migration

Migration is a key property of live cells and critical for normal development, immune response, and disease processes such as cancer metastasis and inflammation. Methods to examine cell migration are very useful and important for a wide range of biomedical research such as cancer biology, immunology, vascular biology, cell biology and developmental biology. With comprehensive list of cell lines in our inventory, Creative Bioarray provides cell migration and Invasion Assay Services to all of our customers.

creative bioarray - Mouse Kupffer Cell Line

Kupffer cells are resident liver macrophages and play a critical role in maintaining liver function. Under physiological conditions, they are the first innate immune cells that protect the liver from bacterial infection. Under pathological conditions, they are activated by different components and can differentiate into M1-like (classical) or M2-like (alternative) macrophages. The metabolism of classical or alternative activated Mouse Kupffer Cell Line will determine their function in liver damage. Special function and metabolism of Kupffer cells suggest that they are an attractive target for the treatment of liver inflammation and related diseases, including cancer and infectious diseases.

creative bioarray - C57BL/6 Mouse Bone Marrow Macrophages

C57BL/6 Mouse Bone Marrow Macrophages is a type of phagocyte that engulfs and digests pathogens and apoptotic cells. Macrophages are produced by the differentiation of monocytes, which turn into macrophages when they leave the blood. These macrophages are found in virtually all tissues where they patrol for potential pathogens by amoeboid movement. They have various forms throughout the body, such as histiocytes, Kupffer cells, alveolar macrophages, microglia, etc., but all are part of the mononuclear phagocyte system. In addition to phagocytosis, they play a key role in non-specific defense (innate immunity) and also help to initiate specific defense mechanisms (adaptive immunity) by recruiting other immune cells.

creative bioarray - Pooled Human Hepatocytes

Pooled Human Hepatocytes are the chief functional cells of the liver, responsible for the selective uptake, metabolism and excretion of most drugs. Cells for use in plate cultures or suspension assays represent a key tool for predicting properties such as hepatotoxicity, metabolism, and potential drug-drug interactions. Since these cells mimic the properties of the liver, researchers can evaluate the metabolism, drug-drug interaction and toxicity of drug candidates in a cost-effective manner.

creative bioarray - Human Skeletal Myoblasts

Diabetic Type I and Type II Human Skeletal Muscle Myoblasts (HSMM) are isolated from donors diagnosed with either Diabetes Type I or Diabetes Type II. Additional donor information is available by contacting Scientific Support. Diseased cells are tested in the same SkGM™-2 Skeletal Muscle Growth Media as the normal cells allowing for easy comparisons between diseased and normal tissue. Both are sold in second passage.

creative bioarray - Buy Purified Human Neutrophils

CD1 mouse bone marrow neutrophils are derived from the tibias of pathogen-free laboratory adult mice. Each vial contains 10 x10^6 cells and is delivered frozen. Cells are negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma. Cells can be expanded on a multiwell culture plate ready for experiments under the cell culture conditions specified by Creative Bioarray. Repeated freezing and thawing of cells is not recommended.Buy Purified Human Neutrophils
