Albumex 4 is manufactured from human plasma collected by Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. It is prepared using predominantly chromatographic techniques.

Berinert IV is a highly purified, freeze-dried CI esterase inhibitor concentrate derived from human plasma. Berinerts IV is available in two presentations with different concentrations (strengths) as detailed in Table 1. When reconstituted, the 500 IU presentation contains 500 IU of CI esterase inhibitor per vial at 50 IU/mL and the 1500 IU presentation contains 1500 IU of CI esterase inhibitor per vial at 500 IU/mL.

Berinert SC is a highly purified, freeze-dried CI esterase inhibitor concentrate derived from human plasma. Berinert SC is available in two presentations which contain 500 IU/mL of CI esterase inhibitor when reconstituted as directed.

CMV Immunoglobulin-VF is a sterile, preservative free solution containing 50-70 mg/mL human plasma protein of which at least 98% is immunoglobulin (mainly IgG), with a cytomegalovirus (CMV) immunoglobulin activity of 1.5 million units per vial. The content of CMV immunoglobulin is defined in terms of EIA (enzyme immunoassay) units. One unit is equivalent to the specified volume of a standard CMV Immunoglobulin.
