The SAR-1000 Advanced Small Animal Ventilator is specifically designed for the precise and efficient ventilation of small animals such as mice, rats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Operating on the flow-time principle, it is engineered to deliver a fixed tidal volume on each breath in Volume mode, while in Pressure mode, it halts inflation at a preset airway pressure, enhancing lung inflation and overall ventilation efficiency. The device features a built-in air pump, allowing self-contained operation and includes tubing sets for both mouse and rat sizes. Capable of multi-animal ventilation, it accommodates up to five small animals with External Valve Assemblies, or a single larger animal with a CTP-VA-3 Valve Assembly. With an intuitive interface, it provides control over Tidal Volume, Rate, and I/E Ratio, and supports remote control through USB and SAR-CommVS software, ensuring user-friendly operation and adaptability to specific ventilation requirements.
