TrueVue™ PressureWave™ uses the most stable and extensively researched Pulse Pressure Waveform Analysis (PPWA) algorithm, as proposed by Liljestrand and Zander. Peer-reviewed clinical investigations support it as a quantitative estimator of Cardiac Output. The PPWA mode is useful during periods of instability or for periods when the ODM mode is unavailable. The highly sensitive “Flow Monitoring Mode” guides intervention, combined with the simpler “Pressure Monitoring Mode” for extended continuous monitoring.

Oesophageal Doppler Monitoring (ODM+) is unique in its ability to guide fluid and drug interventions with accuracy and in real time. The principle is to keep surgical patients in their best haemodynamic state. This means ODM+ helps clinicians to optimise outcomes, with fewer complications.

Deltex’s TrueVue platform software now includes non-invasive, easy-to-use, cost-effective High Definition Impedance CardioGraphy (HD-ICG). Both oesophageal Doppler and HD-ICG systems measure blood flow centrally to avoid some of the limitations associated with peripheral arterial pressure-based technologies.
