Dermagnostix - Molecular Diagnostics Tool for Psoriasis and Eczema
Dermagnostix introduces the PsorX-LabDisk, a cutting-edge molecular diagnostic tool that significantly enhances the accuracy of diagnosing psoriasis and eczema. Distinct from traditional subjective methods, which often lead to misdiagnosis due to overlapping symptoms, the PsorX-LabDisk provides an objective, gene expression-based test that ensures precision in differential diagnosis. The fully automated, 'Lab-in-a-Box' system streamlines the entire diagnostic process within a closed platform, requiring minimal manual intervention and offering results in as little as two hours. Developed and manufactured in Germany, this device leverages centrifugal microfluidics to facilitate efficient fluid movement and compartmentalization within its cartridges, which contain all necessary reagents for accurate performance. The PsorX-LabDisk mitigates the challenges of space and training seen in traditional PCR processes, thus enhancing efficiency and providing dermatopathology laboratories with reliable, contaminant-free results.
Dermagnostix - Molecular Diagnostic System for Dermatological Conditions
PsorXD will analyze tissue samples obtained through minimal-invasive methods, such as tape strips or curettes. This will enable dermatologists to use the test directly in their office at the Point-of-Care, which will make the results available even more quickly in the highest molecular biological quality.
