Medical Gas & Vacuum Service

Medical Gas Outlets Services

Medical gas outlets and inlets are some of the most common items that require maintenance within a piped medical gas system.  We specialize in servicing all types of outlets regardless of manufacturer.  We also offer medical gas outlet repair training schools that will train your facility staff on how to repair the specific outlet styles installed in your facility.

Medical Gas Compliance Services

Medical Gas Annual Testing & Preventative Maintenance Services

Medical gas annual testing is required for certain components within a piped medical gas system, such as central supply systems.  There are many other requirements, some are in time frames defined by the healthcare facility, while others are defined by manufacturer’s recommendations or other codes.  EMGS has the knowledge to help you craft an ongoing medical gas testing and preventative maintenance plan that can be relied on year after year.

Always Evaluating For Constant Improvement

EMGS has the systems and processes in place to help ensure healthcare facilities meet their compliance goals and what is minimally required by CMS.

Medical Gas Inspections & Verifications Services

Pre-Cover Up Medical Gas Inspections Services

EMGS performs medical gas inspections as per the requirements listed in NFPA 99 within section 5.1.12.3. Medical gas inspections became part of the NFPA 99 requirements as part of the 2018 edition. If your state or jurisdiction has adopted the 2018 (or later) edition of NFPA 99 you may be required to perform “pre-cover up” inspections of all concealed medical gas piping. These inspections should be carried out by a qualified individual with a valid ASSE 6020 medical gas inspector credential.

Post-Construction Medical Gas Verifications

EMGS offers post-construction medical gas testing of all components of piped medical gas systems including source equipment, valves, alarm panels and outlets. Included with post-construction medical gas testing is access to our vast knowledge of NFPA 99 for any questions you may have during the installation of the project.
