EOS - Alecta Spinal Stabilization Screws

Polyaxial – Monoaxial – Spondylolisthesis; Polyaxial screws and screws for spondylolisthesis allow for screw angulations of up to ±27,22°. The pedicle screws are more resistant to abrasions owing to their double grooved and double diameter features. Furthermore, it allows the user to achieve a faster and more controlled implantation. The screws are flexible enough for the implantation to be performed at any location. The screws are colour-coded to allow for differentiating between screw sizes easily. A specific thread structure is used for increasing the compatibility between the body of the screw and the locking screw. Thus; the pedicle screw – the rod – the locking screw are enabled to grip more safely.

Alecta Rods

Alecta rods are made of titanium alloy “Ti6Al4V-ELI” (compatible with ISO 5832-3 standards), PEEK, and Chromium-Cobalt alloy “Cr-Co-Mo” rods (compatible with ISO 5832-12 standards). They allow for the load distribution to occur evenly. The rods are of 5.5 mm and 6 mm. The lengths of rods range from 45 mm to 450 mm.

Alecta Locking Screws

Available in 3 different types: It locks the mechanism of motion. It owns an easy locking system. A special thread profile (reverse angle) design of the locking screw allows for a tighter grip and stabilization.

EOS - Biongraft Putty

Biongraft is an injectable and formable paste bone graft based on hydrogel and Beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP), including ZrO2 nanoparticles for antibacterial e?cacy. Biongraft is a safe and fully biocompatible material which is designed to act as an osteoconductive sca?old to support the ingrowth and fusion of adjacent viable bone when placed in an osseous environment .It also provides a bone void ?ller that resorbs and is replaced with bone during the healing process. Requires no mixing. Pre-loaded in a convenient applicator, syringe ready for direct placement into the defect. Easily molded by hand as needed.

Model Biongraft - Beta Tricalcium Phosphate

Biongraft is a Beta Tricalcium phosphate(b-TCP) based porous bone graft substitutes including ZrO2 nanoparticles for antibacterial efficacy.
The interconnectivity of porous structure and microporosity assist capillary motion of blood and body fluids, enhanced penetration for osteogenic cells, and ossification of the synthetic matrix. For macroporosity, Biongraft Granules, Sticks, wedges & Blocks allows deep invasion of bone cells into the matrix. Biongraft polygonal granules have different particle size between 0,25-7 mm. The irregularly shaped granules promote interlocking and improve mechanical stability.

Model Biongraft Flex - Flexible Synthetic Bone Substitute

Biongraft Flex is composed of b-TCP and resorbable PLA based Synthetic Polymer.The polymer of the Flex is metabolite lactic acid and is degraded to CO2 and H2O. Biongraft Flex has a unique micro and macro porous structure that most closely resemble the architecture of natural human bone. It gradually dissolves in the body, promoting new bone formation through the release of calcium and phosphate ions. In time, the porous structure becomes completely infiltrated with cells and replaced by healthy viable bone.

Alecta Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion Peek Cage (PLIF)

Alecta Lumbar Peek Cage is manufactured from MRI and CT-compatible PEEK material, which does not result in permanent lesions. PLIF is particularly useful for the elimination of neurological compression and for the correction of degenerative lumbar deformities such as spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, or disc space collapse. It has a serrated structure that allows for clinging to the superior and inferior surfaces. The proximal and distal surfaces of the cage are designed in an inverse v-woven pattern to prevent its dislocation. Adequate spacing over the cage allows for achieving the intended fusion by using the grafting technique. In this product group, two different PLIF Cages are available.
