For the Intensive Care Unit

Ergotrics - Disposable Prone Ventilation Set

World’s first disposable prone ventilation support for prone ventilation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Scientific studies highlight the benefits of optimised PEEP and long recruitment for ARDS patients, but it is one of the most challenging and ergonomically demanding position changes for nurses. The IPV (Inflatable Prone Ventilation) consists of a pelvic and thoracic pillow allowing the patient to lie in prone position with a maximum free hanging abdomen. This allows for better oxygenation and thus maximum lung ventilation and oxygen absorption in the patient’s blood. The unique selling point of the Ergotrics innovation is the use of compressed air instead of manual labour, which is an ergonomic breakthrough in the ICU.

Morpheroll - Inflatable Cylinder for Reposition a Body Part

Has your ICU bed not enough flexibility to position your patient? Stop using cushions and other supports which are not designed for patient positioning!  Morpheroll is designed to reposition the patients with less burden and less healthcare workers. The Morpheroll is an inflatable cylinder used for patient positioning in intensive care (ICU) beds. The Morpheroll is placed underneath the mattress or mattress overlay prior to putting the patient on the bed. By partly or completely inflating and deflating the Morpheroll, you can lift or lower the patient body part in any desired positioning. By using compressed air, Morpheroll reduces the burden on healthcare workers while giving perfect care to the patients. Size: 88cm long and max 18cm diameter.

Morphemat - Ergonomic Patient Repositioning Device

The Morphemat® is a flexible mat with two air compartments that are inflated separately to reposition patients in the ICU every two hours. By using compressed air, Morphemat reduces the burden on healthcare workers while giving perfect care to the patients. Positioning therapy is the best practice to prevent complications associated with the prolonged bed rest in the ICU 1. Scientific studies 2,3 show that rotating immobile ICU patients every 2 hours brings benefits for the patient’s skin condition, cardiovascular status, musculoskeletal system, oxygenation, but it is ergonomically challenging for the nursing staff. Morphemat is designed to reposition the patients with less burden and less healthcare workers.
