Exceleron - N95 Mask Material
N95 Mask material should consist of polypropylene spun bond materials up and downstream of a polypropylene meltblown membrane. The spun bond materials provide support and comfort, while the PP meltblown membrane provides particle efficiencies >95% @ 0.3 um and 99% efficiencies on bactertia (BFE). The particle efficiencies are typically abbreviated PFE. High quality N95 mask material should be NIOSH certified for BFE and PFE, flame retardency and fluid repellency. The FDA requires additional testing including biocompatibility.
UltraFlow - Microfiber Glass Filter Media
UltraFlow takes advantage of the latest glass nanofiber technology and proprietary binders to offer the lowest flow resistance HEPA and ULPA glass filtration media on the market. Years of research have led to the development of ultra high efficiencies along with low pressure drops for the most demanding applications. Lower flow resistance means less wear on equipment such as air compressors for oxygen concentrators and ventilators. When it comes to breathing circuits, lower resistance means lower stress on patients. A sophisticated matrix of glass nanofibers produces a high surface area-to-volume ratio. This optimized matrix of fibers yields maximum air flow, efficiencies, as well as loading capacities.

N95 Respirator masks achieve particle Effciciens of >95% @ 0.3 um and 99% on bacteria (BFE). Our N95 Masks are manufactured with 100% biocompatible polypropylene meltblowns and spun bonds and are manufactured with 100% American made materials.

N95 Polypropylene Meltblown materials and membranes are the heart of the N95 masks. The meltblown can be referred to as a membrane. The PP meltblown material provides particle efficiencies (PFE) of >95% @ 0.3 um and bacterial efficiencies (BFE) of 99%.
