Flower Orthopedics products
Flex-Thread Technology
The proprietary Flex-Thread Technology allows the nail to "flex" as it is inserted into the intramedullary canal. This unique flexible design allows for ease of insertion and facilitates the entry point on the distal fibula as well as provides point-contact fixation within the intramedullary canal.
Ankle
Tibia
Flower tibia plates are anatomically contoured, robust and designed to accommodate the anatomy and pathology of complex tibia fractures. The locking holes in the Flower tibia plates allow for variable angle placement within a 30° cone and accept both locking and non-locking screws.
Fibula
Flower fibula plating options include two straight fibula plate designs and an anatomic distal fibula plate. The low-profile Flower Fibula Plates allow for the use of variable angle locking and compression screws that sit flush within the plate.
Upper Extremities
Flower - Hand
These low-profile stabilization plates for small bones are designed to provide robust fixation while reducing implant prominence. The wide variety of plates can treat numerous fracture patterns of the forearm, wrist, and hand. Common uses include: Fractures of metacarpals, metatarsals, and phalanges, Metaphyseal fractures of the radius and ulna, Metacarpophalangeal (MCP) fusions of the thumb and four corner fusions
Flower - Wrist Distal Radius
This low-profile, anatomically-contoured plate sits just proximal to the watershed line, helping to reduce the possibility of tendon irritation while optimizing buttress and fixation abilities. It is pre-packaged with a guide block for accurate and efficient screw placement and is available in standard and narrow widths.
