The Fortress Diagnostics Acid Phosphatase Fast Red Reagents kit is for the quantitative determination of Acid Phosphatase in Serum. Acid Phosphatase determination is widely used particularly for the prostatic enzyme where elevated levels can be used as an indication of prostate carcinoma status. Elevated levels of total acid phosphate where prostate pathology is not a contributing factor can be due to liver disease and disintegrating blood platelets or erythrocytes.

The Fortress Diagnostics Adenosine deaminase (ADA) assay kit is for determination of ADA activity in human serum and plasma samples. In the USA, this is for investigative use only.
