G-Tech Medical’s Lindsay Axelrod presented her abstract with preliminary findings from an ongoing collaborative study with Stanford University supported by the Helmsley Charitable Trust. The study involves using non-invasive wireless electrode patches to read myoelectrical signals from the gut over 3 days in patients with Crohn’s disease. Forty patients presenting in flare, and 30 in remission will be tested at t=0,1,3 and 6 months.
