Helping patients who suffer from sleep-disordered breathing, the TAP 3 TL is part of the TAP family of appliances for the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Based on the same principle as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the TAP (Thornton Adjustable Positioner) was designed to keep the airway open to allow for air to pass. A constricted or collapsed airway causes snoring and OSA. The TAP device holds the lower jaw in a forward position, maintaining a clear airway to reduce snoring and improve breathing. Fitting comfortably, the TAP 3 TL is designed to provide room for the tongue and allow the lips to close. An adjustment key enables the patient to adjust the protrusion of the lower jaw while wearing the device until a comfortable and effective position is achieved.

Clear-Lock Retainers provide a convenient service for patients who have completed orthodontic treatment. Fabricated from 1.0 mm clear, BPA-free copolyester, these retainers are custom-thermoformed for optimum fit. Clear-Lock retainers can be made from conventional impressions or models. Your patient’s models undergo a digital scan to create three-dimensional data (which we save for 7 years). In the event a patient loses or damages a retainer, replacements can be reordered from the patient’s digitally stored data via your faxed or emailed prescription. Each Clear-Lock prescription comes with two, four or six single-arch retainers, providing insurance against inevitable loss or damage.

Clear ortho retainers and bonded lingual retainers offer an effective, long-term solution for retaining aligned anterior teeth after treatment. Their transparent plastic construction makes these retainers less noticeable than traditional wire retainers, and they can be processed to include denture teeth if necessary. Unlike the Hawley retainer, clear ortho retainers typically cover the entire arch — therefore, a full-arch impression is required in order to execute manufacturing.

The Comfort H/S Bite Splint is a splint designed to alleviate the pain and damage caused by severe bruxing or clenching of the teeth and is the most widely prescribed bite splint due to its comfort and fit. It is BPA-, metal-, and acrylic-free and available in clear, blue and pink. Two layers make up the Comfort H/S Bite Splint: a 1-mm soft polyurethane inner layer and a 3-mm hard copolyester outer layer. The soft internal surface rests comfortably against the teeth and gums, while the hard occlusal surface provides durability.

The Comfort3D Bite Splint is a patient-specific, digitally designed and 3D-printed hard nightguard. In addition to its ability to alleviate the damage caused by parafunctional habits, the Comfort3D Bite Splint also helps offset the effects of bruxing and protects existing healthy dentition and dental restorations from daily wear and tear. The device serves as an occlusal guard that fits over all of the upper or lower teeth. The Comfort3D Bite Splint tray comes in a clear color and consists of a single-layered hard yet flexible material that provides durability and comfort.
