Hip Replacement
EasyHip - Cementless Stem
For optimal results the surgery should be planned in advance using the appropriate templates. The templates are enlarged by a factor of 110%. The implant size should be choosen using good quality AP and ML X-rays with adequate contrast. Each X-ray should be large enough to apply the whole template.
EasyHip - Ceramic & CoCr Heads
for total hip arthroplasty are small ceramic balls that are placed onto the hip stem. Due to the conical design of the 12/14 taper, the heads sit firmly on the stem and require no additional fixation. EasyHip Ceramic Heads come in three diameters (28 mm, 32 mm and 36 mm) and four head neck lengths, ranging from -4 mm to +8 mm. Detailed correlation can be seen in table below.
EasyHip - Tapered Stems
For optimal results the surgery should be planned in advance using the appropriate templates. The templates are enlarged by a factor of 110%. The implant size should be choosen using good quality AP and ML radiographs with adequate contrast. Radiographs should include a full A/P (anterior/posterior) view of the pelvis, including the proximal one-half of both femurs and a lateral view of the proximal half of the affected femur
EasyHip - Bipolar Head Prosthesis System
The EasyHip Bipolar Head consists of an UHMWPE component encased in an ultra-smooth polished CoCrMo outer metal casing, for articulation in the bony acetabulum. It is to be used in conjunction with femoral components from the GO Implants Total Hip Systems.
EasyHip - Cementless Cup
All surgical approaches can be used while implanting EasyHip Cementless Cups components. All the following steps apply for postero-lateral surgical approach and all other surgical access routes. The patient lies on his/her side. The incision is done postero-laterally. After opening of the fascia-lata, external rotator muscles are resected and the joint capsule is incited. Then, the femoral head is dislocated in dorsal direction so that it lies free.
