PosiSep®C/C2 are specifically engineered for use in clinic and office based procedures and are intended to minimize bleeding and edema, prevent adhesions between the septum and the nasal cavity, and act as an adjunct to aid in the natural healing process. PosiSep®C/C2 offer a slender, easily placed, nasal dressing that allow for gentle placement and rapid expansion upon hydration for minimal bleeding procedures. Both are constructed of a patient-comfortable sponge which is manufactured from naturally occurring chitosan polymers. PosiSep/C2 expands to a greater volume for patients with no middle turbinate and/or a large middle meatus.
