Inguinal and Abdominal Hernias - Inguinal Hernias
Hybridmesh - Semi-Absorbable Mesh
A partially absorbable prosthesis for treating inguinal hernias. Hybridmesh® is a quadriaxial co-knitted mesh with 25% of non-absorbable polypropylene (PP) monofilament and 75% of absorbable polylactic acid (PLLA) monofilament. The prosthesis weighs 80 g/m². The polylactic acid filaments give the mesh the right level of rigidity for quick and easy positioning. After the polylactic acid filaments have been fully absorbed (in approximately 7-10 months), the residual polypropylene mass weighs just 20 g/m², leaving a soft, light and comfortable mesh implant.
Hertra - Model 1, 2, 2A - Pre-Shaped, Rigid and Semi-Rigid, Polypropylene Monofilament Meshes
The rigid and semi-rigid pre-shaped Hertra® 1, 2, 2A meshes are used to repair inguinal hernias in open surgery. They are easily and rapidly positioned as a result of their rigidity and shape-memory features. For this reason, Hertra® 1, 2 and 2A meshes can also be inserted without sutures or other fixing methods. They are the original meshes designed for tension-free inguinal repair according to Trabucco’s “tension-free, sutureless” method.
Hertra - Model 6, 6A - Pre-Shaped, Lightweight Polypropylene Monofilament Meshes
The lightweight pre-shaped Hertra® 6 and 6A meshes are used to repair inguinal hernias in open surgery. They have high porosity and low weight. The Hertra®6 mesh is indicated for male inguinal hernia repairs. The Hertra®6A mesh is used for repairing female inguinal hernias.
Hertra - Model 9, 9A - Pre-Shaped, Quadraxial Knitting Polypropylene Monofilament Meshes
Hertra® 9 and Hertra® 9A pre-shaped meshes are used to repair inguinal hernias in open surgery and are knitted with quadriaxial technology, a process created and developed by Herniamesh to make lightweight yet strong prostheses. The Hertra® 9 prosthesis is used to treat the male inguinal hernia. The Hertra® 9A mesh is used to repair female inguinal hernias.
Inguinal and Abdominal Hernias - Abdominal Hernias
Relimesh - Bimaterial Meshes
These meshes are used for the treatment of ventral hernias with both laparoscopic and open surgery. The double-layered structure means that the device is especially indicated for intraperitoneal use. The microporous side in ePTFE, which comes into contact with the intestine, minimises adherence; the macroporous side made of monofilament polypropylene, in contact with the wall, promotes tissue development.
Herniamesh - Model Round Patch - Flat Round Meshes Made of Non-Absorbable, Polypropylene Monofilament
Rigid or soft, flat round meshes (10 cm diameter), indicated in the repair of ventral hernias with the open technique.
Herniamesh - Model Oval Patch - Flat Oval Meshes
Flat oval meshes are made of non-absorbable, polypropylene monofilament Oval Patch. Rigid, flat oval meshes, indicated for the repair of ventral hernias with the open technique. These meshes can be implanted using Trabucco’s “tension-free, sutureless” technique.
Female Urinary Incontinence - T-Sling PP
T-Sling - Model PP - Female Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI)
T-Sling®PP is indicated for the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) by retropubic transvaginal or transobturator approaches. The T-Sling®PP, in 100% non-absorbable, polypropylene monofilament, has protective sheaths to facilitate passage through the tissues and pre-assembled ring sutures for immediate insertion into the eye of the Herniamesh introducer needle.
Female Urinary Incontinence - Introducer Needles
Herniamesh - Helical and Hooked Transobturator Needles
For use in surgery, for Herniamesh prosthesis placement, via out-in or in-out transobturator approach, i.e. from the obturator foramen to the vaginal incision and vice versa. Produced in stainless steel, the eye is designed to allow passage of the sutures pre-assembled on the tape and they have an ergonomic aluminium grip. Available also with close eye. Sold as non-sterile, they may be sterilised in autoclave or with ethylene oxide.
Herniamesh - Model ND-TV01 & ND-TV02 - Transvaginal Needle
For use in surgery for female urinary incontinence via transvaginal approach to position T-Sling®PP tapes, from the vaginal incision to the abdominal wall. Made of stainless steel, the eye is designed to allow passage of the sutures pre-assembled on the tape and it has an ergonomic aluminium grip. Available also with close eye. Sold as non-sterile, it may be sterilised in autoclave or with ethylene oxide.
