ICL - Host Cell Protein (HCP)

Annexin A5 is a host cell protein (HCP) generated by CHO cells during production of biotherapeutics. This process-related impurity accumulates in the extracellular space as it is released from dead CHO cells and secreted from viable cells during cell culture. Annexin A5 is highly immunogenic and may cause dangerous adverse reactions if present in a therapeutic drug formulation. Purified recombinant CHO Annexin A5 (ANXA5) expressed in CHO-S cells. Contains a 6xHIS tag.

ICL - Beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) Host Cell Protein

Beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) is a host cell protein (HCP) generated by CHO cells during production of biotherapeutics. This process-related impurity accumulates in the extracellular space as it is released from dead CHO cells and secreted from viable cells during cell culture. Because it contains 22 immunoglobulin-like domains, B2M co-elutes with monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) during protein A purification and can thus be present as a contaminant in therapeutic mAb formulations. Purified recombinant CHO beta 2-Microglobulin (B2M) expressed in CHO-S cells. Contains a 6xHIS tag.

Research Reagents

ICL - Antibodies

Antibodies are core reagents for a broad range of research and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) applications. They can be classified as either polyclonal or monoclonal, based on the method of production, or as primary or secondary reagents according to the type of target they recognize. Factors to consider when selecting antibodies include how rigorously they have been validated and whether they are available in sufficient quantities to meet the long-term needs of a particular project.
