OsteoGen^® Synthetic Bioactive Resorbable crystals and crystal clusters in 300 to 400μ are osteoconductive, highly hydrophilic, resorbable, synthetically-derived non-ceramic form of hydroxylapatite, the major mineral component of bone and dental enamel. OsteoGen^®, [Ca5(PO4)3(OH)] is used for the augmentation and repair in periodontal and oralmaxillofacial bone defects.

The OsteoGen Bone Block is a malleable block that can easily contour to the defect site. It is made from bovine Achilles tendon collagen that is similar to human bone, and it is used for onlay grafting and ridge augmentation procedures. Just like the OsteoGen Plug and OsteoGen Strip, the OsteoGen Bone Block infuses the bone graft into the collagen. The bone block also saves you time by removing the need to mix and pack particulate grafts. This also eliminates the potential for graft washout, providing a safer graft for the patient. This resorbable block slowly breaks down in a way that is healthy for a patient`s body to absorb, aiding in the bone-grafting procedure over time. This product contains Human Allograft Material (referred to as “Graft”) collected from human cadaveric donors. All tissue processed for Impladent Ltd. is recovered by U.S. tissue banks as well as a completed donor chart for the enclosed product including but not limited to: serology results, preprocessing culture results, medical and social history evaluation and serodilution calculations that are conducted by or contract tested for the tissue bank. It has been reviewed and approved for transplantation by the tissue bank’s Medical Director.

This product contains Human Allograft Material (reffered to as "graft") collected from human cadaveric donors. A donor serum sample is tested by a CLIA Certified Lab using FDA licensed screening tests and found to be negative or non-reactive for antibodies to human immunodeficiency virus type 1 and type 2 (anti-HIV 1 and anti-HIV 2), hepatitis B surface antigen (HbsAg), hepatitis B core antibody (HbcAb), antibodies to the hepatitis C virus (anti-HCV), and the human T-lymphotrophic virus type I antibody (anti-HTLV I). The serum tests negative for syphilis using a FDA licensed confirmatory test. The donor also tests negative for HIV using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technology or an FDA-licensed NAT test.
