The O’Nil plate for proximal humerus is an optimal solution for the treatment of fractures of humeral head. In the proximal part of the plate, the screws can be locked at different angles, providing maximum stability to the humeral head, ensuring excellent grip in the osteoporotic bone and in multi fragmentary fractures. Made of AISI 316 LVM - ISO 5832-1 steel to allow MR imaging, the low profile and the particular design reduce the risk of impingement. The absence of pressure on the bone and the limited invasiveness help to preserve the proper vascularization of the periosteum; the biomechanical qualities of the implant permit early rehabilitation, by decreasing healing times.

The O’nil Kyte system allows a perfect reduction of the lateral malleolus and includes plates of 3 different lengths. The elliptical hole in the diaphyseal area allows fibular malleolus syndesmosis using a standard screw. The unique conical screw-plate locking mechanism ensures fracture stability whist avoiding pressure on the bone, preserving vascularity and accelerating the return of the patient’s previous mobility and function. Anatomically pre-shaped plates reduce soft tissue irritation and do not require additional modelling.

The PFF Modular Hook for treating proximal fractures of the femur provides the usual excellent stability of O’nil locking plates, but with the additional option of securing the Greater Trochanter using a modular Greater Trochanter hook. The patented conical screw locking system creates a stable system in osteoporotic bones, when screw security can be compromised. In this system the screws act like an external fixator, rather than compressing the plate onto the bone. This important feature of O’nil locking plates helps to preserve periosteal vascularity.

The PFF Modular Hook for the proximal femur provides all the stability features of the O’nil system and, if necessary, also offers the possibility of assembling the modular GT hook to stabilize the greater trochanter. The patented conical locking system is important to achieve angular stability in osteoporotic bones, where the grip of the screws may be compromised. Rather than using the compression of the plate on the bone to resist the patient’s load, the screws work like a fixator, and the limited-contact design helps to preserve the external periosteal blood supply. In addition, the innovative Rail system offers the possibility of creating a dynamic system thanks to a new type of screw with a cylindrical head that slides into the slot of the plate.

Bridge fixation with angular stability plates is the most widely used method in the treatment of metadiaphyseal and periarticular fractures of the long bones of the lower limb. Delayed union, pseudo-arthrosis, breakage of fixation devices and asymmetrical bone callus formation are often caused by the rigidity of the implants, which do not allow proper load transfer to the stumps.
