The OmniBone™ Access Needle is used with the OmniBone™ rechargeable Power Driver and is intended for percutaneous bone access procedures. It is fully power-driven. The non-sterile Power Driver is placed into a sterile pouch and assembled to a coupler. The bone access needle is then connected to the Power Driver assembly.

OmniBone™ is Laurane®’s new, innovative family of power-driven devices dedicated to percutaneous bone access and biopsy procedures. OmniBone™ is a clinician-minded technology, engineered for ease of use and simple handling, whilst performing a safe and successful procedure.

Where competition offers a basic wire protruding out of the patient’s breast, Ariadne’s Thread™ relies on a flexible thread attached to a hook. No rigid wire is protruding out of the breast. This allows an excellent anchorage to the lesion while preserving the placement from incidental consequences from movements between both placement and removal procedures. With its retractable hook and the unique flexibility of its guiding thread, Ariadne’s Thread™ is an effective tool in pinpointing microcalcification and mammary lesions.

The OmniBone™ bone biopsy kit with Power Driver is available in 11 Gauge and three lengths (6.5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm).

The OmniBone™ Bone Marrow Biopsy Kit with Power Driver is available in 11 Gauge and in two lengths (10cm and 15cm).
