Lenstec Softec - Hydrophobic Bi-Aspheric Intraocular Lens

Zero spherical aberration. A patented HD optic design. Low dysphotopsia. A very small defocus, which translates to a sharper image along the optical axis of the lens and improves contrast and visual acuity (based on Through-Focus MTF).

Lenstec - Segmented Bifocal Lens

The Lenstec SBL-2 Segmented Bifocal Lens is a presbyopic lens that is intended to provide superior HD vision. It is a asymmetric segmented multifocal IOL (MIOL) that is designed to improve contrast sensitivity, minimize halos and glare, and provide superior near, intermediate and distance vision compared to other presbyopic IOLs.

TetraflexHD - Active Lifestyle Intraocular Lens (IOL) Implant

The most progressive cataract surgeons provide their patients with the best restoration of vision with higher technology implants. This is accomplished by matching the patient’s lifestyle and vision needs to the implant technology available. Lenstec is proud of our Lifestyle Vision technology available through the TetraflexHD implant. If you are an active senior adult with vision lifestyle needs requiring good near vision and crisp intermediate and distance vision, the TetraflexHD is an implant that may meet your lifestyle and vision demands.

Lenstec - Disposable Ophthalmic Surgical Knives

Surgeons have spent decades developing different wound construction techniques in order to reduce risk and improve patient outcomes. To this end, choosing the correct, high quality surgical knife is vital. Edgetec™ Disposable Ophthalmic Surgical Knives from Lenstec, offer consistent sharpness and superior quality to enable surgeons to reach these goals and contribute to achieving the best clinical outcomes.

Lenstec - Lenses

All of our lenses are produced with 1:1 Anterior-to-Posterior Curvature Ratio. This ‘Equiconvex’ design permits the thinnest possible lenses, which will provide outstanding optical imaging with less spherical aberration than conventional IOLs. The lens styles are all produced with step-vaulted haptics. With this design technique the haptic is initially angulated upward then flattened. This step-vaulting of haptics facilitates ‘in-the-bag’ implantation and holds the IOL gently against the posterior capsule.
