Clinical Chemistry

Linear - Acid Phosphatase (ACP)

The method is based on the hydrolysis of α-naphtyl phosphate at pH 5.0 by acid phosphatase (ACP) to produce α-naphtol and inorganic phosphate. The pentanediol acts as a phosphate acceptor increasing the reaction sensitivity. The α-naphtol reacts with Fast Red TR, to produce a coloured complex directly proportional to the activity of the ACP in the sample.

Coagulation - Reagents

Linear - Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT) Ellagic Acid

The capacity of blood to form a fibrin clot by means of the intrinsic hemostatic pathway requires coagulation factors I, II, V, VIII, IX, X, XI and XII, platelet lipids and calcium. The assay is  performed by the addition in the sample of a suspension of rabbit brain cephalin with a surface activator. The APTT has proven to be a simple and highly reliable measurement of the intrinsic  coagulation mechanism.

Gastroenterology - Reagents

Linear - Turbidimetric Calprotectin

The latex particles (diameter ≥200nm) coated with anti-human Calprotectin (CP) antibodies are agglutinated when they react with feces samples containing human calprotectin. The latex particles agglutination is proportional to the concentration of the Calprotectin in the sample and can be measured by turbidimetry. Calprotectin Turbidimetric is a latex turbidimetric assay only for the quantitative detection of Calprotectin in human solid stool samples. This assay is simple, widely applicable and test results are obtained in a very short time. The intended use of the test is exclusively to differentiate IBD patients with inflammation from IBD patients without inflammation and from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Hematology - HEMATOLOGY- Reagents & Controls

Auto Hematology Analyzer for Cleaning and Washing Tubing System

STEL 3-Cleaner is used on STEL 3 Auto hematology analyzer for cleaning and washing tubing system, removing blood residual and other particles to ensure blood cell counting.

Immunology - Turbidimetry - Controls and Calibrators

Turbidimetric Calibrator

The latex particles coated with anti-human β2-microglobulin are agglutinated when they react with samples that containing β2-microglobulin (β2-M). The latex particles agglutination is proportional to the concentration of the β2-M in the sample and can be measured by turbidimetry.
