Although it can take loads up to 340 kg (SWL), the ScanAfia X-ICU bed is still light and easy to manoeuvre, thanks to its Ø150mm design twin castors. As a unique feature you may also have electrically lockable set of castors. The design of the bed emphasizes both ergonomic working and patient comfort and accessibility; its exceptionally low minimum height makes work easier for nurses and makes getting out of bed easier for patients.
