Our product MAG200 has successfully completed Phase I/II of a clinical trials on the use of allogeneic (donor) off-the-shelf stem cell therapy for OA. The pivotal Phase III trial is planned to commence 2023.

AVSC has been researching and developing stem cell treatments for dogs, cats and horses for a number of years at Monash University – home to Australia’s largest stem cell research group. Since 2010 AVSC has been supplying high concentration pure stem cell treatments/doses to veterinarians for specific conditions in dogs, cats and horses.  AVSC provides therapies based on the use of stem cells sourced from adipose tissue (‘ADMSC’) and Whartons Jelly (Umbilical Cord) .  ADMSC are both anti-inflammatory and multipotent – being able to regenerate/repair cartilage, tendon, ligament, and muscle tissue.

Magellan is currently sponsoring clinical trials with the aim of seeking regulatory approval for the supply of ‘off the shelf’ stem cell treatments - using ‘donor stem cells’ - for the treatment of osteoarthritis.
