Medical IoT saves lives. Our IoT solution for automated external defibrillators (AED), commonly known as “Defis” in German, makes sure that they are ready to work when they are needed. According to recent studies, 30 per cent of all AEDs are not currently functional. Our IoT solution enables the device to signal its readiness, which can be monitored by a desktop personal computer or mobile end device. Whether 3G, 4G, NB-IoT within the regulatory systems RED or FCC, Bluetooth Classic or Bluetooth Low Energy – Mechatronic is a competent partner for medical IoT solutions, no matter which technology is applied.
