Medica - Plasmafractionators

FRACTIOsmart™: a family of filters designed to optimise cascade filtration treatments based on a Versatile-PES® polyetheresulphone membrane. These fractionators separate molecules of high molecular weight such as immunoglobulin, cryoglobulin and cholesterol (LDL) from lower molecular weight molecules that need to be returned to the patient during treatment, such as albumin and HDL.

Medica - Plasmafilters

Comprehensive range of plasmafilters with a filtering surface ranging from 0.01 sq. m to 1 sq. m, manufactured using proprietary Versatile-PES® capillary membrane technology. They can be supplied either as stand-alone units or pre-assembled in a kit.

Medica - Therapeutic Apheresis Equipment

AFERsmart Plus™ is a therapeutic apheresis equipment capable of administering different therapies; plasmapheresis, cascade double filtration, plasma filtration-adsorption, double filtration-adsorption and hemoperfusion. The equipment can be used for both heparin and citrate treatments and allows in-line control of plasma flow and can be integrated with an external heater (Kalos). The pre-assembled kit makes using the equipment easy.

Medica - Leukocyte Adsorber

Leukocyte Adsorber LA25: cartridge for selective leukocyte adsorption in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as Crohn`s disease and drug-unresponsiveulcerative rectocolitis. The cartridge uses a proprietary adsorption technology based on MediSulfone®.
