The ENFit double lumen nasojejunal feeding and gastric aspiration tube is used to feed into the small bowel and simultaneously aspirate the stomach. There are two versions of the tubes depending on the method of placement.The EF2L has an internal guidewire for surgical or endoscopic placement.The EF2EL has an external guidewire and an open tip for an “Over the Wire” placement technique either radiologically or by using the guidewire down the centre of the endoscope.The aspiration lumen of these tubes may be used to feed the patient as they recover. Care must be taken changing the labels on the tubes.
