Chronoceptor - Reduces Screw

Merete’s Chronoceptor™ reduces screw implantation time and eliminates back table hand-offs by combining k-wire, pilot drill, countersink and length gauge into a single sterile instrument. Designed for use with Mecron™, the original cannulated screw system. Chronoceptor™ streamlines your OR by simplifying common AO techniques and eliminating many of the instrument hand-offs between the surgeon and scrub tech.

Mecron - Cannulated Screws

Re-introducing the proven Mecron® Cannulated Screw, re-designed for today’s foot and ankle surgeons…Merete® founder Emmanuel Anapliotis developed and launched the proven cannulated orthopedic screw in the early 1970s. CEO Alexia Anapliotis has updated her father’s historic Mecron® headed and headless screws to exceed the expectations of 21ST century foot and ankle surgeons. The Mecron® Cannulated Screw consists of headed and headless compression screws made from titanium alloy. The screws are available in diameters from 2.0 mm through 4.0 mm and overall lengths from 8 mm through 50 mm. The Mecron® Screw is designed to provide optimal compression, precise tracking and has highly-engineered reverse cutting flutes for easy removal.

Merete - Cannulated HCS Screw

The Merete® Cannulated HCS (Headless Compression Screws) are self-drilling/self-tapping, dual pitched screws with a threaded head which can be countersunk into the bone. The screws are available in diameters of 3.0 mm, 4.3 mm and 6.5 mm in various lengths.

Merete - Cannulated PCS Screws

The self-drilling and self-tapping Merete® Cannulated PCS Screws are made of titanium alloy (Ti6AI4V, DIN EN ISO 5832-3).

Merete - Model CS - Screws

The self-tapping Merete® CS Screws are made of titanium alloy (Ti6AI4V, DIN EN ISO 5832-3).

MetaCun and DuoMetaCun - Model II - Osteosynthesis Locking Plates for Dorsal Fixation

The MetaCun™ II and DuoMetaCun™ II plates are osteosynthesis locking plates for dorsal fixation of mid and rearfoot arthrodesis procedures. Merete’s updated system utilizes a novel long-hole compression slot mechanism that compresses the fusion site through the displacement of bone fragments underneath the plate. A DIA 3.0 mm compression screw that glides along the ramp in the distal long-hole slot during insertion causes the fusion site to compress.

MetaFix BLP - Locking Plate for Hallux-Valgus

Locking plate for Hallux-Valgus interventions through proximal chevron, crescentic and closing or open wedge osteotomies as well as TMT1 and MTP1 fusion procedures. The BLP™ Plate is an anatomically shaped U-oblique locking plate that adapts the proximal curvature of the first metatarsal. The plate is available in four lengths (31, 33, 35 and 37 mm) for left and right feet. The plate construct is affixed with 3.0 mm and 3.5 mm locking screws that offload the osteotomy of fracture site. Two K-wire holes of 1.4 mm facilitate temporary fixation.

Limb Salvage

OsteoBridge - Model IDSF - Intramedullary Diaphyseal Segmental Defect Fixation System

OsteoBridge™ IDSF is a modular diaphyseal implant used for long term stabilization of segmental bone defects in humerus, femur and tibia of oncology patients. The modular endoprosthesis spacer consists of a spacer(s), that fixates two intramedullary nails and bridges the defect after resection.

OsteoBridge - Model IKA - Knee Arthrodesis System

The OsteoBridge™ IKA, Intramedullary Knee Arthrodesis, system serves to fuse the knee joint. The use of the implant is also possible to bridge long bone defects and to resect the metaphyseal area of the femur and tibia. OsteoBridge™ IKA (Intramedullary Knee Arthrodesis) knee arthrodesis allows cementless or cemented restoration. For the fusion of the knee joint with optimal anatomical adaptation and as an alternative to the treatment with plates or after plate fractures, the modular OsteoBridge™ system is a simple and stable solution for limb preservation.

Pediatric Orthopedics

PediatrOS FlexTack - Growth Guidance With Varus/Valgus Misalignments

For correcting axis misalignment (Genu varum/valgum) using hemi-epiphysiodesis. The flexible center area of the anatomically shaped PediatrOS™ FlexTack™ allows it to bend open in vivo in response to bone growth forces, helping steer pediatric and adolescent bone growth gently and precisely. The trapezoidal design of the PediatrOS™ FlexTack™ staple is closely aligned to the anatomy of the femur and tibia. Cannulated staple legs allow precise placement using K-wires. This technological improvement on conventional implants for correcting varus/valgus misalignments reduces intraoperative fluoroscopy times and can be implanted using minimally invasive techniques.
