Knitted Polypropylene implants monofilament, density 90g / m² specially designed for the tissues reinforcement in inguinal and crural hernia repair in open surgery. Pluging system is composed of “petals” which can be cutoff in order to reduce the volume of the implant and to adapt it to the size or the hernia opening.

LT implants are biocompatible devices. These implants are specially manufactured for tissue reinforcement during inguinal hernia repair. LT implants are indicated for groin hernia treatment and are used under open Lichtenstein procedure.

The SPIRE’IT applicator is a ready-to-use mechanical suture used in implant fixation. The Spire is used in many surgical procedures such as hernia repairs. Made from a shape memory alloy thread, NITINOL, it has, at rest, in the form of double 4mm in diameter coils. 10 sutures are placed elongated in a barrel and return to their initial shape when implanted.

Precutaneous suture recommended for: Ligation of bleeding abdominal walls. Closure of trocarsites securely and safely without extending the incision. Rise of the implants hernia repair before final positioning.
