The Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test is a rapid test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2. The lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay is intended for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in anterior nasal swab specimens directly from individuals within 7 days of symptom onset or without symptoms or other epidemiological reasons to suspect COVID-19 infection.

When the needle is retracted it is drawn back into the barrel. Once fully retracted the needle tilts to the side, encapsulating the needle in the barrel of the syringe preventing reuse or causing potential needlestick injury. The barrel plunger is then snapped off as a further precaution for reuse or needlestick injury.
