National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) training
Workforce Development Program
NEHA, through a funding agreement with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), is continuing to work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/National Center for Environmental Health (CDC/NCEH) to support efforts already underway to build capacity and infrastructure of the overall public health system, and more specifically to support the goals outlined by the CDC’s National Strategy to Revitalize Environmental Public Health Services. To insure increased coordination of environmental health workforce and leadership development programs and activities, NEHA has established and convened the Environmental Health Workforce Development Consortium. Key national organizations and federal agencies make up the Consortium and meet monthly via teleconference.
NEHA E-Learning Training
NEHA has always been committed to bringing our members the highest quality educational opportunities. During this time of COVID-19, NEHA members have relied on our virtual learning offerings more than ever. Throughout the crisis, the NEHA member community has contributed information and guidance through virtual forums, live chat sessions, training videos, and more. As we continue to navigate our new normal, we will expand upon our virtual offerings so that we can bring our members the education and resources that they need right now.
