Navigo Proteins provides a solution for increasing global demands in antibody manufacturing with its innovative, best-in-class, next generation Protein A-like affinity ligands. Our proprietary Protein A-like ligands offer exceptional caustic stabilities, highest dynamic binding capacities and mild elution conditions: Together with other crucial industrial downstream processing characteristics they are superior to currently available protein A resin products. In a co-development project with Repligen Corporation we created the NGL-Impact™A affinity ligand, an exceptional Protein A-like ligand that sets new standards in the field of antibody purification.

In conventional biologics production, sequential multi-step downstream chromatography procedures impact, more than any other factor, overall manufacturing costs, process development and manufacturing timelines. Additionally, they pose a continuing manufacturing risk and require a different downstream process (DSP) for each new biologic. Navigo Proteins’ Precision Capturing® technology dramatically simplifies non-Fc biologics downstream processing from pre-clinical stage to commercial manufacturing. This is achieved by substituting several chromatography steps by one single custom affinity chromatography capture step based on Navigo’s proprietary artificial Protein A affinity ligands. Downstream process development and manufacturing timelines are effectively shortened while yields, process robustness and product quality are optimized.

Navigo Proteins’ Precision Targeting unit leverages its protein engineering expertise to create proprietary Affilin® molecules, harnessed to create optimized, next generation biopharmaceutical drugs in numerous fields of use. Navigo Proteins’ Affilin® platform benefits from the inherent engineerability, stability, safety, and ease of manufacturability. Our Precision Targeting unit comprises a versatile toolbox to custom-build selective biotherapeutic drug candidates, tailored in a flexible, modular fashion, to combine optimized selectivity, effector functions, and adjustable serum half-life. Currently, our Affilin® molecules are being developed as protein-drug conjugates (alternatives to antibody-drug-conjugates, ADCs).
