The Nonin Onyx II 9550 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is a small, lightweight, portable device indicated for use in measuring and displaying functional oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (%SpO2) and pulse rate of patients who are well or poorly perfused. It is intended for spot-checking of adult and pediatric patients on fingers (other than the thumb) 0.3–1.0 inch (0.8–2.5 cm) thick. Intended use environments include hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, emergency medical services, and home healthcare services.

Nonin Medical’s SenSmart^® Multi-Sensing 8330AA sensor is a multi-parameter sensor designed and field-tested to provide fast, robust patient readings including pulse oximetry (SpO₂), pulse rate, carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) and methemoglobin (MetHb). Powered by Nonin PureSAT^® oximetry technology, the 8330AA sensor is able to use simultaneous SpO₂, COHb, and MetHb measurements to result in the most accurate readings, regardless of patient comorbidities. That means reliable accuracy when dealing with sick patients. The SenSmart 8330AA sensor is compatible with the Nonin CO-Pilot™ and Nonin 3500SP.

It is intended for spot-checking of adult and pediatric patients on digits (fingers, thumb, toes) in a wide-range of environments to include hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, emergency medical services, and home healthcare services.
