Xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) is a ‘dietary fibre’, or `functional food fibre` and is considered a prebiotic. Prebiotics act as a `food` that enables your body to grow healthy bacteria in your lower gastrointestinal tract (GI). They help your body customize decisions on this bacteria. (Alternatively, probiotics consist of prepared bacteria that `guess` at your body`s requirements).

NovaGreen will use a proprietary feedstock source to produce inulin. NovaGreen has teamed with our technology partner to develop and market this proprietary technology. A unique collaboration will enable NovaGreen to provide a North American source of Inulin to a waiting marketplace.
