The fixed patient transfer unit (PTU) without window “Gamma/1”, release of 2013, has been conceived using the experience and know-how of OPT, gained in more than 90 years’ knowledge of the medical field.The goal of this device is to maintain the aseptic condition of the OR. The PTU without window “Gamma/1” is used for transferring the patient from the operating table to the hospital bed without having the personnel pass constantly from the septic to the aseptic area with clear advantages in terms of hygiene.

The window allows the PTU to divide the aseptic area from the septic one before and after the patient’s transferring.
