The SIGMA 40-II Hyperbaric Chamber System by Perry Baromedical is engineered to facilitate hyperbaric oxygen therapy for two patients simultaneously. Operating at a maximum pressure of 30 psig (3 ATA), the chamber is filled with breathing quality air, while patients inhale pure oxygen using a built-in breathing system (BIBS) via 'Duke' style hoods. Constructed with aluminum end heads and a quick opening door assembly, the chamber features a seamless clear acrylic plastic cylinder securely fastened by steel tie-rods. Safety interlocks are incorporated to ensure the door remains secure unless the chamber is depressurized. Comfort is a design priority, with adjustable padded treatment chairs, the world’s largest diameter acrylic to alleviate containment anxiety, and a reclining function to enhance the treatment experience. The unit is mounted on a wheeled chassis housing the control components, ensuring ease of maintenance. The custom-designed adjustable height patient seat transfer gurney facilitates smooth patient transition in and out of the chamber.
